Here at Mindy's School of Dance we give your child the individual attention he/she deserves.

Mindy has been studying dance since the age of six. She studied under Virginia Chittum until her retirement. After this she went on to further her dance education while attending WVU. During Mindy's early years of dance, she competed in baton and dance.  She has judged baton competitions, dance and pageants, TV commercials and musical theatre. Her students have performed in commercials and performed in a musical choreographed by the Osmonds in Provo Utah. Every summer Mindy travels across the US and Canada to keep up on the latest techniques.

Mindy is a member of P.D.T.A. and D.E.A. These organizations only accept teachers with the highest teaching knowledge and standards in the field. Certified members of D.M.A. are tested through written, oral, and performance tests.

Mindy is one of only seven active dance masters in the state of West Virginia.
Mindy's students have toured with dance caravan with whom they have danced in Las Vegas, Disneyland, Walt Disney World, New York City and Busch Gardens.

Dance shoes may be purchased at "The Dancer's Closet" and
The Barre Room"  Leotards may be purchased at these
stores or the store of your choice.
